Florida couple get 10 years each for child ingesting drain cleaner

MILTON, Fla. (AP) — A Florida Panhandle couple have been sentenced to 10 years in detention center for letting their toddler drink a drain cleaner frequent in making methamphetamine. Local media outlets document that 24-year-ancient Amber Nicole Cooley and 27-yr-historical Kyle Joseph Cooley have been sentenced final week after pleading no contest to varied drug and child abuse charges.

Authorities say their 3-yr-historical child become airlifted from their Milton domestic to a Pensacola clinic in December after ingesting the amazing acid from a sippy cup and struggling severe burns to the face, neck, mouth and chest.
